About the opportunity This position reports to the Commercial Director. Key Responsibilities include the following: Develop and maintain procurement and supplier management policies and frameworks in conjunction with the Commercial Director and key stakeholders. Develop, maintain and improve all procurement and supplier management processes and procedures to ensure efficient and responsiveness of procurement services. Implement and maintain procurement systems to support the efficient operation of procurement services for the organisation. Support and advocacy of key strategic sourcing best practice processes, systems, and tools. Maintaining knowledge of contemporary trends and developments in procurement and contract management Lead the change management and transformation associated with the implementation of new procurement practices across the organisation. Lead a team of one to support governance and compliance; systems enablement; and reporting and analytics. What we’re looking for 7 years’ experience in procurement, contract management, procurement operations required. Experience in developing and embedding procurement policies and procedures. Experience in leading a project that has delivered on time and on budget. Strong working knowledge of best practice procurement principles including sourcing, procurement, and contract management.…
