Closing Date: 2024-06-04 4:00 PMPOSITION OBJECTIVEThis role coordinates the Procurement Governance team and is responsible for ensuring the necessary mechanisms, frameworks, policies, processes and change management capabilities are in place that meet the requirements of the Procurement Act 2020. Provides specialist advice and strategic support, for the development and administration of all procurement and contract governance and accountability activities for the Western Australia Police Force (WA Police Force).SPECIALIST PRE-REQUISITEIt is a requirement that the position holder is successful in obtaining and maintaining a NEGATIVE VETTING LEVEL 1 security clearance for the duration of their appointment in the position. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to hold and maintain the NEGATIVE VETTING LEVEL 1 security clearance. Any applicants who are currently not an Australian Citizen must be aware that this is an essential requirement to fulfil this position (please refer to the attached position description).
