- You have a proven track record within a complex stakeholder environment for managing projects throughout the project lifecycle, including leading complex procurement activities.
- You are ready to step up into a leadership role, or are already a leader, and are passionate about developing and implementing project management and procurement improvement strategies and processes.
- You are a fluent communicator, proactively seeking solutions to problems as they arise, and reporting on them in an accurate, brief, clear and timely manner.
- You care about your people and are committed to their professional development and employment satisfaction.

- You may have qualifications from the Australian Institute of Project Management, Project Management Institute, Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply or Australasian Procurement and Construction Council as these are deemed desirable but not essential.
- Managing the development of complex Procurement and contract documentation, including business cases, procurement plans and tender documentation.
- Overseeing competitive procurement processes, including tender evaluation and recommendations.
- Providing accurate, clear and timely reports on the MCB’s Procurement and Capital Works activities.
- Ensuring that the MCB has the appropriate project and contract management processes and platforms necessary to deliver projects to a high standard with robust financial control.
- Providing advanced analysis, internal and external collaboration, good governance and superior risk management capabilities.
