Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing to contract management and supplier performance.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role requires a strong leader with exceptional negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of procurement best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct supplier audits, and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
- Analyse market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services.
- Monitor and report on procurement metrics, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
