About the role:
We have a part time contract opportunity for a leading expert and functional specialist as a Procurement Lead in the Procurement Systems team, until March 2025, 3 days per week. You will lead and influence teams and stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities.
Taking these opportunities through and analysis, justification, implementation, and effectively communicate to the wider corporation, as we build the technology capabilities in all aspects of Supply chain management. Additionally, the role manages all master data regarding vendors and the business requirements for automation proposals and changes to Procurement systems and processes.
What the role will involve:
- Plan, manage and coordinate the development and delivery of an agreed suite of improvement projects to support WC efficiency targets.
- Lead the end-to-end development of RPA documentation including process mapping, communications, testing, change management strategies and training in order to improve the integrity of key processes and sustain digital transformation.
- Analyse and define complex business process and stakeholder needs and translate into application requirements and designs.
- Prepare written analysis, including recommendations and conclusions, of complex application’s performance, change and improvement.
- Provide functional expertise and coordination to assist technical team leaders to manage relevant software updates and upgrades.
- Develop and maintain documentation associated with requirements, issues, change, release, development & learning associated with applications.
- Perform internal project management tasks and assist external project teams as required to support business process improvements.
- Build employee capability through mentoring, coaching, performance feedback and provision of development
Key skills and experience:
- Considerable experience in procurement and contract management
- Proven experience in the operations or management of procurement and logistics functions for the broad range of goods and services
- Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation applications such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Ui Path.
- Knowledge of Vendor management and data management protocols
- Knowledge of SAP/SRM/ECC
- Knowledge of ERP systems, processes and methodologies including MRP
- Sound knowledge of relevant Procurement regulatory requirements and codes of practice.
- Considerable experience in applying agile principles and methodologies including Scrum, Lean and Kanban development.
