Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the supply of products and services across the Johns Lyng Group's insurance brands Devise and use fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies to maintain business growth
- Discover suppliers and initiate business and organisational partnerships
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Approve the ordering of good and services
- Finalise purchase details of orders and deliveries
- Examine and test existing contracts
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations of business goals
- Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
- Expect unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare appropriate control strategies
- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Key Selection Criteria:

- Proven work experience as a Procurement Manager or Procurement Officer
- Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration degree
- Excellent negotiating and networking skills
- Sound knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
- Experience collating and managing data
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, as well as a dexterity in "reading" the market
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Ability to develop strong relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
