EMJC Earthmoving & Plant Hire has been operating since 2008, providing plant hire, heavy haulage and maintenance solutions for the mining, civil and construction industry.
With branches located in Perth, Newman and an onsite team in Collie, an opportunity has arisen for a full-time Procurement Officer to join the Purchasing division in our Perth team based in Hazelmere.
The role:
- Arranging and comparing quotes from OEM and aftermarket suppliers
- Ordering parts from a parts master sheet developed from the job scope
- Tracking outstanding orders and expediting back orders
- Arranging air/road freight of goods
- Ensuring all goods are receipted against Purchase Orders
- Providing parts outstanding reports for EOM progress recognition
- Managing major inventory level records
- Job costing

Essential skills and qualifications for this role include: -
- Minimum 3 years industry experience in a similar role
- Broad knowledge of earthmoving equipment and mechanical workshop operations
- Knowledge of earthmoving parts suppliers
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Reporting and computer skills
