About the Product Content Writer/Video Producer role...
We’re searching for an exceptional Content Producer to help bring SiteMinder’s products to life via video and written content across our ever-evolving help centres and contextual learning experiences.
What you'll do...
You will work with the Product Content team to create videos and written content about our great range of products, translating complex ideas and concepts into helpful, customer-friendly content across our many communication channels.
You will spend approximately 60% of your time on written content and 40% on video content, depending on the scope of work.
This could involve shooting a video interview for a monthly update, filming a livestream of a presentation, creating gifs and clips for a marketing campaign, screen-recording a demo of a product, writing a product guide for one of our help centres, reviewing UI copy — no two days will be the same and you’ll get to work with a talented team of professionals who will help you learn, grow and improve.
Deliver end-to-end video production and photography services, including researching, producing, scripting, shooting and editing.
Create video content using our in-house video equipment, which includes a Canon C70 video camera and a Canon 80D DSLR stills camera.
Collaborate with designers, product and marketing teams to produce collateral that helps future customers get started using SiteMinder products.
What you have...
2+ years content writing and video production experience.
Experience with Adobe CC desired (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, etc.)
Experience with Salesforce, Photoshop, Jira, Intercom, and Google Analytics also desired.
Knowledge of basic HTML preferred.
Knowledge of Figma, Trello and/or Zeplin is a big advantage.
Background writing about software is highly desired, as is an understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
Talent for turning detailed and/or complex technical jargon into consumable, meaningful and engaging written pieces.
