Product Innovation Manager - Fmcg

Our client is a leader in its category with a number of respected brands under its remit. They are looking for an NPD Operations Manager to join their fast-paced, dynamic team in this newly created role to drive Product Innovation  and operations.

The position is 5 days per week with a 3:2 (onsite - Sydney / WFH) arrangement.

The Role:
  
A rare but exciting contract opportunity to join a passionate, forward-thinking team experiencing critical growth. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you'll be responsible for managing all key NPD projects through the business, from inception to market launch. You'll be the operational conduit between cross functional teams and external vendors spearheading systems and workflow for all new product SKUs within the category.
   
You will:

• Work cross functionally to co-ordinate and drive projects to ensure they're on track at all stages
• Effectively project manage NPD projects to meet critical timelines including scoping documents, financials, packaging, launch support plans
• Support the marketing team with project execution, including project management, packaging artwork and data insights & analysis
• Work with the sales team to ensure retailer sites are up to date
• Marketing tasks as required to support the team, including advertising, collateral development, reporting, brand planning, admin and financial support
• Briefing agency/supplier management

You'll Need:

• Previous product marketing experience with the FMCG or healthcare category
• Excellent project management skills from ideation to launch
• A proven track record managing external agencies/stakeholders
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage various projects simultaneously - a hands-on, detail oriented approach
• You enjoy working autonomously whilst collaborating with wider teams
• Confident, proactive, influential, a strong relationship builder, a genuine team-player
