Our client is a wholesale and retail business specialising in sports licensed apparel. We are searching for an experienced Product Line Manager (PLM) to drive the success of their Product Lines.
The Role:
The role will be responsible for collaborating closely with various departments to curate new and existing products, and oversee the development of new products each season.
Key Responsibilities:
Curate seasonal product ranges tailored to target consumers and channels to enhance market differentiation and maximise brand commercial potential.
Alongside Sales and Marketing tams, devise seasonal channel and account strategies, offering insights into products and distribution to drive growth.
Liaise closely with Design, Sales, and Production to articulate precise product needs, ensuring collections align with future season trends and stakeholder expectations.
Lead and mentor the Product Line Coordinator to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
Contribute to achieving revenue and gross profit targets through effective seasonal range planning.
Provide guidance to designers on option plans and assortment of seasonal products.
Identify fresh opportunities, categories, and sales channels to propel brand growth.
Ensure adherence to critical path timelines.
Experience, Skills, and Competencies:
4+ years of experience in a similar role.
Passion for apparel products and the product development process.
Strong data and relationship management skills.
Thorough understanding of US Sports licensed apparel.
Strong experience in merchandising planning within a dynamic, fast-paced wholesale and retail business.
Intermediate IT literacy required, American and Domestic Sport knowledge desired.
Strong communication and time management skills.
