The two primary objectives are to:Ensure we are building the right things at pace through the continued evolution of our planning cadences, tools and processes.Ensure our product releases are aligned in a well sequenced manner across Xero and create excitement.In this role, you will be a key leader and subject matter expert to link the Xero nervous system together to create a cohesive operating system across the large and geographically dispersed Product & Technology teams at Xero. You will unlock massive amounts of value by evolving and improving our planning, operational and launch processes and frameworks that empower our teams.As a senior member of the 'central' team of operations professionals you will lead the design and implementation of the systems and processes to ensure we have fit for purpose tools, systems, rituals and artefacts across all Product & Technology divisions balancing the benefits of consistency and standardisation with the operating nuances of different functions.The Senior Business Operations Manager role will be expected to be flexible in operating either within the planning and operational cadence space or the launch release and GTM engagement processes space.Critical competencies/experience
- Be the subject matter expert in either SaaS product operations or marketing and launches operations
- Have a minimum of 8+ years in operations, marketing operations, product or strategy roles, SaaS experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of technology products and the product development process through to launch
- Experience leading through influence.
- Proven delivery of programmes of work.
- Awareness of modern delivery principles and practices.
- Proven experience collaborating and building trust and effective working relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
- Proven ability to influence outcomes at a range of levels from individual contributor to executive level leader
