Motion, Asia Pacific foremost Industrial Engineering business is expanding our product range & services in the Australasian Agricultural markets, we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated Product Manager to join the team in this high growth market.
As the specialist in our Agricultural Hardware Product category, your purpose is to assist with achieving sustained sales growth targets by providing market research and collaboration across the business with Product Specialist and Category Managers.

Your role:
- Develop plans and delivering support to the Sales teams for the product category.
- Recommend category product ranging and branding including the development and growth of our PBL (Home Brand) range.
- Develop and presenting internal technical support and training.
- Research and advise on market segment management and growth.
- Provide sales force with category appropriate training, information and selling tools.
- Work with sales teams to optimize product pricing to drive both growth and profitability.
- Work directly with your strategic supply partners to drive win/win outcomes ensuring that both parties’ performance expectations are met, and that Motion is the channel of choice for our key suppliers.
- Ensure the service centre network has appropriate technical call support.
- Contribute to S&OP team to ensure accuracy of inventory and sales planning.
- Champion new product, services and/or channels relating to product categories.
- Responsible for the resolution of warranty issues for products within your category.
- Formal qualification in Business and or Marketing desirable.
- Demonstrated experience working in high volume sales within the Agricultural industry in Australia / New Zealand.
- Understanding and experience with global sourcing and working in a branch network environment.
- ERP and CRM experience is desirable – analytical reporting.
- Demonstrate marketing experience and good commercial acumen.
