An amazing opportunity has opened up to join the team at World Vision Australia as the Product Manager – CRM. Reporting to the Head of IT Operations, the Project role works within World Vision Australia’s (WVA) Project Services Team to drive outcomes with the Product Management team of Product Owners, overseeing the ongoing development and implementation of the new Dynamics 365 CRM Project (SODA).
Your role plays an integral part in the organisation, enabling us to support our mission of empowering Australians to create meaningful change for the world’s most vulnerable children and adults.
The Product Manager will liaise with key business stakeholders to define new features and enhancements to the CRM, defining, documenting, and communicating requirements and agreed solutions to the technical teams.
Other key accountabilities include;
- Develop an intimate understanding of the organisation’s operations, and the possibilities within the SODA CRM platform, and propose opportunities to improve business function that best uses the totality of the platform
- Responsibility for ensuring the business, quality and functional goals are met with each new feature released, from concept to delivery.
- Liaise with key business stakeholders to capture requirements, refine and prioritise effort around new features of the SODA CRM product backlog(s)
- Work with the Product Management team and Development teams to ensure clear understanding of the overall vision for the platform, so as to design the best possible outcomes for the business, with an appropriate sense of urgency
- Lead and facilitate requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders, to capture key requirements, run planning sessions, break work into logical units and clarify requirements
- Develop positive and sustaining relationships with team members and key business stakeholders
Who we’re looking for;
As the successful applicant, you will have a breadth of capabilities including enthusiasm, creativity and outstanding interpersonal skills.
In addition, you will have:
- A strong understanding of, or previous experience in, a Product Owner or Product Manager role
- Strong knowledge of and/or certifications/credentials in a broad range of industry methodologies
- Considerable experience working within cross-functional teams and collaborating and communicating with senior business stakeholders
- Previous experience working within an Agile team
- Tertiary qualified – Degree-level Business, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar
- Any certification associated with project delivery methodologies preferred
- Any certification associated with Dynamics 365 CRM and/or Finance preferred
