This is an exciting new opportunity for a Product Manager to join our Product Management and Marketing team. You will take charge of the day-to-day management of DIN & Smissline products. Your responsibilities will entail overseeing the operational aspects and staying abreast of market trends, technical advancements, and various application scenarios relevant to the DIN & Smissline product ranges.
Reporting to the Product Manager – DIN & Distribution Boards, this role will be based in Wetherill Park.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Understanding the Australian market landscape for DIN & Smissline, including thorough analysis of competitors, market trends, and compliance with relevant standards and legislative requirements.
- Developing and implementing business & marketing plans
- Proactively nurturing and managing key supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and communication to optimize supply chain efficiency and reliability.
- Continuously enhancing technical expertise and staying abreast of advancements in DIN & Smissline products, ensuring a deep understanding of their applications and functionalities.
- Collaborating closely and providing support to the Applications team to deliver top-tier technical support to customers.
Experience & attributes:
- Electrical Engineer or Trade Qualified Electrician
- Previous experience in a Product Management role (preferred)
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of competency in the management of KPI's, margins and sales figures;
- Willingness to travel as required;
- Knowledge in MS Office and CRM software;
- Proven communication and negotiation skills;
- Excellent time management and planning skill
