Product Manager Iot Devices

Iota is a wholly owned subsidiary of South East Water. Established to deliver impact outside of South East Water's regulatory boundaries, Iota seeks to drive change in the water sector and help it respond to challenges such as climate change. Iota also commercialises game changing digital and circular economy technologies.

The role of Product Manager IoT Devices is a broad fast-paced role within Iota's Customer Success team, driving the successful launch and commercialisation of various IoT devices, including digital water meters, sensors and data loggers.

The successful candidate will require a blend of product management expertise, technical acumen, and pre-sales consulting skills.

As well as developing customer solutions, uncovering water utility and customer needs and clarifying business objectives and challenges, other key accountabilities of the role will include;

• Product Lifecycle Management for our range of IoT Devices
• Customer Engagement and advisory
• Technical Expertise and Support
• Market Research and Industry Trends
• Quality Assurance for Water IoT Devices
• Documentation and Reporting

Armed with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Business), the successful candidate will have proven experience in IoT device product management and agile management methodologies.

A technical expert in IoT technologies, including IoT Platforms, digital water meters, LWM2M data loggers and sensor networks, the candidate will also possess experience in presales processes and solution consulting, including the ability to translate customer challenges into solution proposals and implementation planning.

Candidates will be excellent communicators with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation. They will also be au fait with MS Office and CRM software.
