As GIVIT’s hands on Product Manager you will be responsible for championing and managing the development and maintenance of our bespoke online donation management web application. You will play a crucial role in understanding business requirements and identifying improvements to product functionality and capability. You’ll bring these to fruition by working closely with our third-party web/product development partner.
We are seeking an experienced e-commerce/Product Manager who is passionate about customer experience and design, process improvement and digital innovation, to ensure GIVIT remains a digital disrupter in donation management.
In this role you will:
- Collaborate with the leadership team to set, review, and update the product strategy, and roadmap, ensuring the product vision, direction, customer experience and priorities align with GIVIT's broader strategy.
- Work closely with the wider GIVIT team to understand business objectives and processes efficiencies, translating these into technical requirements for the external web development partner.
- Manage our external web development partner ensuring all UI/UX, Front-end and Back-end development work is completed on time and budget to meet business needs.
- Enhance data capture mechanisms and reporting capabilities, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and optimising business operations.
- Ensure there is strong documentation, training, and user support for product capabilities, aligning with internal governance processes and standards.
- Actively seek out and implement strategies to streamline processes, improve data collection and processing and increase automation, maximising efficiency and achieving more with limited existing resources.
- Maintain a commercial mindset in developing a product strategy and roadmap, delivering to the plan, and support the operationalisation of the strategy.
- Support product innovation and assist in driving new ideas through to development.
Technical skills and experience you possess:
- Bachelor's degree in e-commerce, IT or related field is desirable.
- Core Product Management capabilities of Product Strategy, Prioritisation, Customer Research, Data Insights and Product Roadmap.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendors and leading projects.
- Strong communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with executive teams and cross-functional groups.
- Proficiency in basic data analytics tools.
- UX/UI experience highly regarded.
