We are looking for someone to join our Acquisitions and Retentions Product Development team at Seven West Media. If you believe you are a great fit for the role, we’d love to hear from you! You play a key role within your team, translating business needs into product requirements, ensuring that everything is defined and well understood using agile practices. You combine influence and leadership to facilitate discussions amongst stakeholders to perform the analysis and define the scope of product releases. You are able to build strong working relationships with business stakeholders and are great at articulating requirements and designs into user stories. Collaboration is key so you will be instrumental to the Community of Practice around Product Ownership.

About the role

• Gain a thorough understanding of customer needs using a defined method, including workshop facilitation and stakeholder interviews 
• Analyse the requirements and develop user stories, define acceptance criteria  
• Lead a project from a Product Ownership perspective, running project inceptions, release planning, iteration planning & tracking, breaking work into logical milestones and stakeholder expectation management 
• Work closely with the delivery team members to ensure that the product meets the agreed requirements and quality standards. 
• Deep domain understanding with the ability to test and liaise with frontline support teams 
• Work with Product Manager and Tech Lead to prioritise the product backlog and defects based on business value and stakeholder interests, ensuring the team meets its KPI’s and goals 
• Provide training and mentoring in the best practice of analytical techniques and application of the agreed delivery framework 
• Work with the Domain Leadership to identify success criteria for each milestone the team is working on 

About You

• Experience as a Product Owner or Agile Business Analyst working in a team environment, including exposure to a commercial environment 
• A solid understanding of agile systems of work, and how to identify areas of improvement and influence change 
• Has worked on a range of different projects, with different teams, bringing success and failure examples to increase the maturity of the teams’ system of work 
• The ability to lead ceremonies (stand up, retro, showcases, workshops, inceptions etc.) including the use of visualisation techniques 
• Experience working in an agile delivery environment, including iteration, and story management 
• Strong organisation and facilitation skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively with a range of personnel at all levels of the company. 
• User Experience, or Product Management qualifications. Relevant work experience.
