About your Role
We are currently recruiting for a Quoting Product Specialist, located at our Brisbane Head Office. This is a permanent full-time, Monday to Friday role.
This position will provide leadership to the Service quoting team for the assigned product portfolio. As Quoting product specialist you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and delivering service repair options quotes that align internal capabilities with customer requirements.
The key responsibilities of this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Provide leadership to the organization for accurate Service quoting that align the customer requirements with the Hastings Deering repair options strategies, for standard rebuilds/overhauls and customer specific build requirements
- Understand customer requirements and scope which will include preparation of quote templates for customized rebuilds.
- Ensure quotes and quoting templates are technically compatible by communicating with other departments and staff to determine and clarify project requirements.
- Ensure segments are constructed with appropriate parts, labour, and miscellaneous costings, to the agreed service level, determined business rules, and within agreed margins
- Follow up on quotes to ensure customer need-by date is met
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors (manufacturing, engineering, logistics and purchasing) to gather information in order to complete request for quotes and bids
- Collaborate with master data management team, product line managers and sales to ensure customer requirements are handled accurately,
About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Relevant trade qualification
- Minimum of four years experience working within a service oriented environment
- Knowledge of CAT systems and machinery
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical and data skills
