We been operating in Australia since 1992 and have the exclusive distribution rights to some of the worlds leading short line farm machinery equipment such as Horsch, Degelman and Orthman to name a few. Horsch LEEB Self Propelled Sprayers have been designed to respond to market requirements of “more clearance” and “flexible track”. Depending on vegetation and season, the machine can flexibly adapt to the operational conditions and the challenges to provide our customers and their crops with utmost efficiency.
About The Role
As a new role in the business, the Purpose of the Product Specialist role is to provide technical assistance and knowledge to Dealer and End user customers who have purchased or who are looking to purchase a Horsch LEEB product through Muddy River. The Sprayer Technician is responsible for both responding to immediate breakdown issues with retailed machines as well as planning, coordinating and implementing various technical service-related, field-based activities toward the development and expansion of the market for the Leeb Sprayer and related products through technical information provision. .
About The Person
Ideally the successful candidate will have relevant;
- Experience operating broadacre orientated spray equipment – ideally Self Propelled
- Experience in a technical support role or related role with farm machinery – ideally spray equipment
- Technical qualifications from an automotive or light/heavy mechanical and/or electrical discipline
- Good interpersonal communication and ability to build rapport quickly with others in a professional manner.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Computer skills with an ability to use Outlook and our Dealer Portal and our various Supplier’s Information Portals.
- Exceptional client service ability, with the ability to provide accurate and timely advice in a helpful manner.
- High level attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage your own time within tight timeframes.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and assembly instructions.
- Ability to follow policies and procedures with a strong focus on quality control.
About The Offer
Ideally this role will be based in Northern or Central Victoria (however if you are based in other locations on the East Coast we would be happy to discuss) and there will be a consistent requirement to travel to deal with customer enquiries and issues – often at relatively short notice. With this his in mind, a suitable remuneration package will be negotiated to secure the right candidate for the business.
