The Company:
The Role:
As the Product Specialist, you will actively contribute to the unique approach to sales through partnership and education of their products, ensuring the successful execution of business growth strategies and plans, as well as contributing to the delivery of events and conferences throughout the year.
Reporting to regional sales manager - Key Responsibilities are:
- Achieve sales objectives for a defined territory (monthly, quarterly and particularly the budgeted sales target for the year) as well as other defined KPI’s by creating and executing an effective Territory Business Plan (TBP).
o Planning activities according to sales data insights
o Visit planning of more personalised calls (30 – 60 minutes) and visit planning follow up
- Provide accurate technical product support and regular training to customer base
- Handle incoming calls from customers to process customer orders/requests and provide support in a timely and accurate manner as required
- Keep up to date with relevant scientific publications
- Full control of local market, direct customer base
- Support communication and marketing actions, remain aware and knowledgeable of promotional programs, competitor products, and educational or marketing activities
- Keep up to date on all products and procedural information
The Candidate:
- Degree qualified (equivalent to bachelor) preferably in business administration, dental area, medical sciences or health care related area
- At least five years of work experience in sales in the dental/healthcare market, with experience in marketing, database management and CRM processes
- Ability to organise and implement working tools to achieve goals defined by Geistlich Pharma Australia
- Strong proactive/self-starting team player with positive can-do attitude
- Outstanding customer service attitude
- High level technical knowledge in dental surgery/implants or scientific areas
- Excellent communication and social skills
- Proven selling and networking skills
- Public speaking and presenting skills
- Extensive, in-depth product and dental knowledge
- Active network within the dental/health community
- Computer literacy (including use of Apple products), Microsoft Office/Excel and PowerPoint expertise
