The role
The position would be required to deal with multiple levels within the customer organization focusing on improving the performance and integrity of the Equipment at the lowest practical cost. The PSA represents Sandvik and as such will assist in liaising between Sandvik and the Customer in order to achieve a high level of Customer Service and Support. Additionally, you will work within the Customer’s Maintenance Management Team to improve Sandvik Equipment performance.
The PSA role will be, liaising daily with the Customers maintenance management, supervision, planning and technical staff, coordinating Sandvik parts, Technical Support, CSC Repairs and any additional Field Service support resources in line with the Customers maintenance requirements.
- Reporting to the Customer and Sandvik management teams.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to Customer maintenance staff.
- Perform Fault Finding of Technical issues and repairs to equipment as directed by the customer.
- The role is to be based underground, primarily supporting the on-shift maintenance crews.
This role is base at Mount ISA Mines – MICO.
This is a flexible location base role (FIFO) and the ideal candidate can be based in Brisbane | Mount Isa or Townsville.
Areas of responsibility
- Managing the Service Support to accomplish the goals and objectives of the business.
- Managing the daily requirements and engaging the relevant departments of the business to provide a high level of customer service satisfaction.
- Developing direct customer relationships.
- Enhance existing Site Service by providing input into strategic plans for the continued expansion of the business.
- Facilitation of coaching and mentoring of site Technical staff.
Your profile
Having technical expertise on Sandvik equipment is an advantage, superior customer service skills and highly development time management and communication skills is compulsory.
