Jacon Equipment, a business unit of the Maas group (ASX:MGH), is looking for a Product Support Service Technician to help support the wide spread Jacon Equipment fleet. Jacon is a global manufacturer of shotcrete, concrete transportation, concrete pumping and utility equipment and brings with it an exciting opportunity for a seasoned technician.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Product Support Manager, the Product Support Service Technician will be primarily responsible for working on various mining and infrastructure projects -commissioning, servicing, and repairing Jacon Equipment. Experience in Mining, Civil and infrastructure, along with a sound knowledge of underground mining equipment will be considered an advantage.
This role is based in Brisbane, however will require regular travel.
Responsibilities will include:
- Carry out modifications and installations to new machinery.
- Commissioning of new machinery at customer projects.
- Training clients on various piece of Jacon Equipment.
- Testing and adjusting of equipment components & systems.
- Fault finding, repairing, replacing and providing technical advice.
- Diagnosing root-cause malfunctioning systems and components.
Essential requirements are:
- Motor Mechanic, fitter and/or similar trades are encouraged to apply.
- Over 3 years apprenticeship experience with an OEM, heavy equipment background, or underground mining environment will be considered.
