Due to ongoing contracts, we are seeking:
Full Time Product Support for underground contracts throughout Kalgoorlie DIDO/FIFO
We are seeking Product Support personnel with strong communication skills with intermediate knowledge of drilling application for rock drilling tools and consumables.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with client to work with both development and production drill application and performance improvement
- Manage time on the job over three sites
- Complete product performance trials, with reports to Tech-manager
- Assist in controlling inventory design and levels required
- Attend daily (PSI) pre-shift meetings with client
- Liaise with client to understand upcoming drilling operations requirements
- Send off daily shift reports from UG trials and product performance details
- Record and report all instances of comment or complaint by drilling personnel, especially in relation to alleged consumable fault or premature failure
- Assist the Tech-manager in investigating all reported instances of alleged consumable fault or premature failure
- Perform all duties and functions on the mine site in accordance with the highest standards of workplace safety, work practices and site-specific instructions and requirements
- Visit underground mining operations sites, as required, and inspect, check and verify usages of drilling consumable performance on each machine
- Set up basic drilling practices for ground conditions and rigs on each site
- Complete the 'Daily Consumable Report' for each item of drilling equipment checked and submit to the Tech-manager for verification and recording
Ideally, you will have the following
- Tablet/PC/email/copier skills/Xcel
- Manual Driver’s license
- Forklift license
- Experience in a similar role
- Industry UG experience
- Drilling operational experience and good product knowledge
- Be able to travel with little notice
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
