Position Overview: 

We are looking for a talented Engineer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in offering technical expertise to the customer, post-delivery of our equipment sale, whilst firmly upholding the company’s warranty claim structure and procedures. Furthermore, leveraging the customer knowledge to aid in designing, implementing, and optimizing control systems that push the boundaries of what's possible while sternly adhering the Australian and Global standards. 

Key Responsibilities & Role Deliverables: 

  1. The primary Objective of the role is to champion the Fuelling products and help customers resolve any technical issues.
  2. The role involves the relational and engineering support interface between the company and customer post the sales process.
  3. The Product Support Engineer is to amiably and technically support the customer after the sale whilst firmly upholding the company’s warranty claim structure and procedures.
  4. The role includes designing and developing engineering Kit sets and assisting customers to install these remotely.
  5. The Product Support Engineer directs the progress of warranty activities by identifying technical problems, analyzing warranty claims, issuing reports, handling customer complaints, and collaborating with Engineering and the customer to resolve the Technical Problems
  6. Day-to-day this role involves taking phone calls from customers, liaising with the relevant internal and external stakeholders involved to resolve the issues, and reporting to senior management.
  7. The Product Support Engineer provides leadership with project activities including vehicle commissioning, vehicle fleet appraisals, warranty, and chargeable repairs.
  8. Creating a culture of high performance and customer support excellence which delivers results, is a valuable part of the ethos of the successful candidate.

What will you bring: 

  1. A master’s in Mechatronics/related Engineering Degree 
  2. A minimum of 2-4 years of Experience in PLC programming/diagnostics (Ladder Logic, HMI Design, Structured Text)
  3. Proven record in fault finding, training operators, successful customer interactions and managing repair and commissioning projects domestically and internationally.
  4. Excellent understanding of fuel, pneumatic and hydraulic circuits would be beneficial.
  5. Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  7. Excellent time management skills and demonstrable experience achieving tight deadlines.
  8. Strong project management/coordination skills
  9. Ability to work across an internal mix of functions.
  10. Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport.
