Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll report to Senior Superintendent - Technical, and work alongside a close-knit team of technical professionals. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our QNGR fleet at the Mayne Stabling Yard, Bowen Hills.
We'll look to you for:
- Perform the ISST role on a rotating basis, supporting In Service faults with technical advice to support the Driver and to minimize the In Service impact of the fault.
- Raise 'Incidents' in SAP based on first contact from Drivers or on-board systems, ensuring high quality reporting to enable effective repairs.
- Liaise with Mobile Service Technician teams in order to effect the repair with no impact to In Service performance.
- Assist in the identification and production of vehicle modification programs to improve reliability and maintainability.
- Monitor fleet performance using on-board diagnostics and remote monitoring systems and provide KPI's as required on critical systems such as HVAC, Toilets, Doors etc.
