Production and Packaging Operators

About the company/role:
Our client, a local food manufacturer, is currently seeking a Production Mixer and multiple Packaging Operatorsfor a casual ongoing role to commence immediately! Must have availability to work shifts on an ad hoc basis from Monday to Friday between 3pm and 11pm.
These positions require self-motivated people with excellent mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail. This is an excellent opportunity to join a great company with a friendly team environment!
Duties (include but are not limited to):

• Operate packaging and production machinery
• Mixing and blending
• Package and box food products
• Identify and report quality issues as you work
• Assist with general warehouse duties

Skills & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you MUST have:

• Previous packaging, production or warehousing experience
• An understanding of quality control
• A safety conscious attitude within a warehouse environment
• Be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20-25kg
• A high attention to detail and time management skills
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Current driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle
• 1 - 2 years of experience working in a GMP facility is an advantage
