Job roles:
- Frying shallots & garlic to golden brown perfection consistently
- Working with hot oil and spicy chillies
- Mixing spices and following strict recipes
- Jar labelling, filling and packing
Job requirements:
- 2-3 years experience in a chef role highly preferred
- Prepared to work with spices & chillies
- Comfortable lifting up to 20kg
- Great attention to detail
- Punctual & reliable
- Ability to stand on feet throughout shift
- Excellent time management skills
- Clear & effective communication skills
- Strong work ethic, doing jobs to the best of their abilities
- Willingness to do repetitive tasks to the highest of standards
- Ability to follow instructions, work autonomously and in a team
- Maintain clean working environment at all times
- Comprehensive knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety, safe food handling and hygiene
- Experience supervising/leading a kitchen team (not essential but huge bonus with more opportunities for growth)
