Started by a 5th generation European Master Baker, we are an artisan bakery that has grown into a successful business producing bread and pastry/cake products, from scratch, using traditional methods.
Noisette Bakery make products of the highest quality and supply wholesale customers across the Melbourne region.
We are now looking for full time, qualified and experienced Production Cake Head Chef with a passion for artisan baking techniques to join our production facilities in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs. This is an opportunity for qualified Pastry Chef (Cake) to shine alongside passionate professionals dedicated to their craft.
You will also have the following:
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment preferably Pastry (hand made European style cake products)
- Experience with Food Safety, HACCP and OHS/WHS
- Demonstrated team leader experience
- Ability to analyse and resolve production problems
- Have a flexible work approach with strong communication and inter-personal skills
- Experience in planning and organising, plus the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Good Time management skills
- Ability to manage all aspects of the role in a pressurized environment
- Availability including late night and early morning shifts
- Ability to work hard with an experienced and fast paced team
- Initiative and be highly self-motivated
