THE ROLE
The role of the Production Coordinator involves ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of manufacturing and logistics processes, encompassing labour scheduling, production coordination, logistics planning, material procurement, and monitoring job progress and workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with production managers to formulate and execute production schedules.
- Monitor daily production activities, adjusting schedules as needed to achieve production targets.
- Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of raw materials for production.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among various production teams.
- Address production timeline issues in collaboration with supervisors.
- Cultivate a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Implement and uphold quality control measures to ensure products meet industry standards.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and rectify deviations from quality standards.
- Optimize the utilization of machinery, equipment, and manpower to enhance production efficiency.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is well-maintained and operational.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records.
- Generate regular reports on production performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Work with the safety department to conduct regular safety audits and implement improvements.
- Completion of undergraduate, tertiary, or trade qualifications in engineering, building, or construction management.
- Proficiency in project and activity organization.
- Strong client liaison and customer service skills.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Results-driven collaborator with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Emphasis on exceeding customer expectations.
- System-oriented individual with advanced computer skills.
- Capability to read and create drawings, reports, engineering documents, and specifications.
- Administrative proficiency to coordinate Quality, OHS&E, and other company documentation.

- $65K - $90K salary + Superannuation
