AddressWe are inviting applications for an AP21 legend who can coordinate all aspects of product development from creation to delivery. You are organised, a logical thinker and detail orientated – whilst being flexible and ready for a challenge!
Collaborating with the design, production and merch teams on all brands within Kidman Apparel, you’ll manage purchase orders from initiation to bulk goods delivery, maintain effective relationships with onshore and offshore suppliers and ensure timely communication and vigilant production process monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the design, merchandise planning & production teams.
- Responsible for administration and tracking of product from concept to delivery
- Creation and updating of products and raw materials in AP21
- Raising and issuing purchase and production orders in AP21
- Liaising with manufacturers, factories and raw material suppliers to ensure our production critical path timelines are followed
- Tracking of samples from PP stage, including shipment samples, marketing sample requirements, raw materials and finished goods deliveries
- Problem solving production issues with suppliers as they arise
- Updating and maintaining multiple production schedules
- Creating care labels and barcodes for suppliers
- Driving the approval time lines on lab dips, strike offs, trim and bulk fabric confirmation.
- Communicating and coordinating quality control requirements both inhouse and with third-party inspections
- AP21 experience preferred
- Smartsheets or similar spreadsheet format program experience preferred
- Excellent Excel skills
- Adobe suite skills a bonus
- Proven experience in a production assistant role or similar, preferably within the fashion, outdoor apparel, or footwear industry
- Ability to work with cross functional team members and problem solve issues as they arise
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
