About the role
Reporting to the Broadcast Productions Manager, the Broadcast Productions Coordinator will be responsible for event crew scope development, booking, contracting, and coordinating all freelance production, operational and technical crew for the Tennis Australia (TA) Host Broadcasts and Productions teams.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and coordinate crew scopes and requirements for all AO Media events and projects based on production needs
- Book, contract, coordinate, and formalise freelance and contractor personnel as requested by AO Media management and authorised leads
- Organise on-site logistics and coordinate accreditation, meal allowances, onsite catering, uniforms, parking, ground transportation, and other on-site requirements for crew, contractors, and staff
- Partner with the AO Broadcast & Media team and other departments to calculate hours and wages, manage purchase orders, process invoices, monitor hours worked, and handle payroll for all events
- Provide high level operational and administrative support to the Broadcast Production Manager, Broadcast & Media Operations team and other AO Broadcast & Media personnel as required
About you
What you will bring to the role:
- Demonstrated experience working in broadcast, large scale sporting events, or similar
- Strong knowledge of the broadcast industry domestically and internationally
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation, budgeting, and administrative skills with a high attention to detail
- Preparedness to be flexible regarding working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
