The RoleReporting to the Drafting Manager, he has been where you are: at the start. Working his way up, he truly is a company brand ambassador, and wants nothing more than to grow and nurture his team to the best of their ability.The new role will involve a solid understanding:
- Prepare preliminary sketches & coordinate designs
- Production drafting work using AutoCAD and Revit (new house designs to full working drawings)
- Liaison with Council DCP, Developer Requirements, Building Code of Australia, etc..
- Produce detailed documentation of Site/Floor Plans, Elevations, Sections, Details, Electrical, Kitchen, Storm Water Plan, Soil & Sediment Control Plan and Shadow Diagrams
What you need- Min. 5 years in a similar/related position in Residential home building
- Diploma in Building Design (or similar)
- AutoCAD Qualified
- Strong knowledge of NCC, QDC and Small Lot Code
- Well developed writing and communication skills - team player with a good attitude
- Accuracy and attention to detail, highly organised, proactive and resourceful
- Ability to perform under time pressures and meet deadlines
