About the opportunity
We are currently offering the opportunity for a Revit Structural Draftsperson to join our Briabane team. This is a hybrid role (office and WFH).
The job entails the following general abilities:
- Document engineering drawings to a construction/fabrication standard in Revit
- Energetic and pro-active attitude towards resolving problems
- Willingness to adapt quickly and effectively to the rapidly changing digital environment.
About you
Essential requirements:
- At least 2 years industry experience using Revit (structural, civil, mechanical).
- At least 2 years industry experience working as a structural or civil drafter
- Proficiency in the setting out and development of detailed layout drawing sheets in both reinforced concrete and structural steel structures
- Ability to ensure that all drawing-deliverables are managed in accordance with project specific requirements
- Be able to maintain libraries of repetitive elements and ensure consistency and quick deployment of parametric items (such as parametric families, 3D objects, annotation styles and design specifications)
- Ability to implement a continuous improvement approach to modelling and drafting templates and workflows
- Capability for troubleshooting model issues within a team environment
- Interest in emerging technologies
- Willingness to adhere to the Engineers Australia Code of Ethics
