What's the Role:
As a vital member of the team, your role is to ensure the safe and economically sound development of mines while championing environmental awareness. You will play a key part in mine design, planning, and control activities to make a positive impact on our ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain Relationships:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Drive Continuous Improvement:
- Review and control business development activities, focusing on continuous improvement and optimisation across all sites and projects
Exceed Client Expectations:
- Meet and respond to client expectations as outlined in engagement agreements, ensuring high-quality performance 'on-the-job'.
Provide Expert Designs and Planning:
- Contribute to the development of designs, productivity planning, and scheduling for mining operations, ensuring safe, productive, and cost-effective practices.
Evaluate Mine Reserves:
- Review geological models and produce mine reserves evaluations for specific sub-sections of the mines.
Ensure Compliance and Reporting:
- Monitor, record, summarise, and report mine planning activities to ensure compliance with regulations and standards, while communicating project performance effectively.
Initiate Improvement Opportunities:
- Identify opportunities for improvement, actively participating in studies and special projects to optimise mining activities and maximize contract value.
Effective Communication:
- Develop and communicate project designs, schedules, costs, results, and recommended improvements to end-users, facilitating successful implementation in the field with project management support.
