With a proud Engineering history and the vision to utilise the best technology available to develop a world class operation, this Northside Engineering Group is looking to appoint a Production Engineer to take ownership of this integral part of the business.
Reporting to and working closely with the Managing Director, you will manage and control all aspects of production from programming, production planning, provision of support to the Workshop Supervisor including CNC machine operations as required and direct the team of CNC Machinists, Operators and Assembly Fitters to deliver quality outcomes for both the customer and business.
Your contribution will be invaluable to this Brisbane manufacturer and to ensure your success you should possess:
- Formal Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of production planning including scheduling
- Demonstrated ability to make informed production decisions to support customer delivery dates
- Work closely with Design Engineers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of required planning, design, bills of materials and programming requirements
- Maintain your professional and technical development including but not limited to CADCAM software. Application of Edgecam including new enhancements, G Code Verification. Application of NCSIMUL including new enhancements, ISO Programming for machine operation and Tooling technology to improve best practice.
This integral role will support the Workshop Supervisor in their absence across production readiness - ensuring the factory is ready for upcoming shifts, executing maintenance plan for machines, ensuring workshop husbandry, streamlining of jobs and maintaining workflow including performing supervision and CNC programming.
