About the role
Reporting to the Team Leader and Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring production requirements are met safely and efficiently.
We have permanent, full-time roles on Afternoon Shift.
To be a Sara Lee Line Operator you will:
- Be a safety role model at all times
- Prepare the Production Line and equipment to run
- Start, operate and shut off the Production Line
- Ensure quality checks are completed accurately and on time
- Problem solve and trouble shoot based on your knowledge of the line and your position
- Use your initiative and communication skills to effectively guide offsider and general hand support on your line
About you
Full training will be given to the right individuals; however preference will be given to applicants who have:
- Previous production operating experience ideally within a high volume FMCG, food or healthcare manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and experience of HACCP, food safety, quality and safety principles
- A positive can-do attitude
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a safety focus
- Willing and eager to be trained on a range of different equipment and processes
