About the roleThe Production and
Maintenance Manager is a Full-time position, based at Springvale, Victoria. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be accountable for Springvale concrete tile production and maintenance.
In this role you will:- Oversee & manage production, and maintenance activities to ensure Monier's expectations of safety and environmental performance, productivity, quality & customer service are being achieved.
- Develop & lead Safety, Health, and Environment programs on the shop floor to improve the plant's performance.
- Lead cultural change in the factory, including developing the skills and competence of team members and focusing on employee engagement metrics.
- Develop & implementing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
- Develop and manage labour and maintenance budgets while optimising labour on site.
- Develop and manage maintenance plans, scheduling & resourcing plans.
- Manage the SAP based PM system.
What you bring to the role- Previous experience in Production Management roles or similar.
- Tertiary Engineering qualification or a Trade background.
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
- A solid background working in a manufacturing environment.
- An eye for detail and the ability to think analytically.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- A hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
