AddressTrisco Foods (www.triscofoods.com.au) is an Australian family-owned business managed by the Tristram family who have been manufacturing food and beverage products for over five generations in Queensland, dating back to 1875. The company has an enviable reputation for quality products and state of the art manufacturing. The business is poised for further growth and is now looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Production Manager to join their team. You will be a self-starter with the ability to develop and implement new systems and lean tools quickly.
Based in Carole Park and reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for:
* Management and coordination of all staff and teams, through direct reports, the manufacturing / processing and packing line to ensure optimum performance that meets budget. 4 direct reports, total team of 25.
* KPI’s:
Safety - LTIFR
Quality – NRFT, BRC standards
Delivery - Achievement to production plan, OEE compliance and DIFOT.
Cost – Labour at a % of sales
Resource planning
Critical to your success will be your skills around people management, and experience managing a fast paced FMCG manufacturing site, preferably in food, FMCG, with an ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and partners to drive business success.
Other essential experience is:
* Minimum of 5 years in LEAN Manufacturing environment
* Resource planning
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in a HACCP fast-paced FMCG environment
* Proven experience successfully leading an operations team in a complex Food Manufacturing site
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to hold teams accountable.
* Strong understanding of continuous improvement lean tools and methodologies, proven past experience
* Passionate with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives
* Ability to motivate and hold both teams and individuals accountable
* Strong Analytical & Financial skills
* Cost management
* Advanced knowledge of GMP, HACCP and BRC standards.
