Description
The Production Operator is largely responsible for the precision in measuring, blending, and packaging products, ensuring efficient workflow adherence to schedules, safe handling of materials, and adherence to site safety standards. Overall, the key areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):
- Measure, blend, and pack products according to precise work instructions.
- Work efficiently to agreed schedules, maintaining a seamless flow of materials and product handling.
- Perform manual labelling, filling, and packaging tasks as required.
- Safely load and unload trucks to ensure a continuous supply chain.
- Restock stock picking areas, optimizing workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness in work and stock areas.
- Adhere to all site safety rules, including the proper storage and handling of hazardous goods, following site 5S standards.
- Report safety hazards and actively participate in safety activities.
- Participate actively in regular meetings and other team activities.
- Conduct on-line quality checks and complete quality documentation.
- Provide routine input for the improvement of processes and procedures.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Full and unrestricted work rights in Australia.
- Proven experience working on a production line, involving material handling, troubleshooting, quality checks, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Safety and Dangerous Goods (DG) experience are highly desirable.
- Collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Possession of a current and valid Forklift Licence.
- Basic computer skills, including document printing and data entry.
- Exceptional accuracy, numeracy, and quality assurance skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, a strong work ethic, and reliability as a team member.
