Production Operator

Recruitment Vision are looking for candidates that are self-motivated and have the ability to perform at high standards with minimal supervision. You will need to have proven experience working within a chemical processing facility, or similar. The Production Operators are responsible for operating and controlling various areas of the Processing Plant in a safe, responsible, and efficient manner. Operating the plant involves many different activities, including overseeing the control of the process, product sampling, operating mobile equipment and monitoring operational equipment.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Have a minimum of 2 years industry experience in Process Operating or similar environment, chemical refining background highly desirable
• HR Truck or above licence desirable
• High Risk Folk Licence desirable
• Possess Certificate III Process Plant Operations highly desirable
• Be able to work a production shift roster and open to flexibility around day and night work
• Possess a current Driver’s Licence and be eligible for a ‘clean’ national police clearance
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risk and follow safe procedures of work

This position is based on an attractive 8 day on 6 day off FIFO roster. Candidates are required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen.
