About the role
We are looking for experienced Filling and Packaging Operators with a can-do attitude to join our Night Shift team. We are a 24/7 site with a 4 on/4 off 12-hour roster.
Key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
- Ensure the production line is set up with correct materials and conforms to the relevant specifications.
- Prepare, operate and monitor the filling and sealing equipment.
- Prepare, operate and monitor the secondary packaging equipment.
- Cleaning and sanitation - perform required CIPs.
- Accurate recording of quality and performance data.
- Maintaining appropriate records and close monitoring of the daily. production process by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
Skills and Experience.
- Experience in food or beverage manufacturing - dairy experience would be highly regarded, but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and an ability to follow written procedures and forms.
- Physical capability to perform all tasks including manual handling of components and ingredients.
- Resilience! We’re a small team. You will be good at organisation and problem solving.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
- Good attendance and ability to work with limited supervision
- A valid forklift licence would also be highly regarded, but not essential
