THE ROLE
Our client offers an extensive selection of specialty chemical solutions designed to cater to various industrial needs. Their diverse product range is tailored for applications such as metalworking fluids, glass industry processes, transportation, engineering, and overhaul operations.
They are currently seeking a Production Planner with a background in the SAP system, responsible for planning and overseeing production scheduling.
DUTIES
- Develop production forecasts and weekly production plans to meet customer orders and maintain optimal stock levels at interstate warehouses as specified in SAP.
- Generate and issue Production Process Orders in accordance with the Production Plan.
- Monitor production output versus the Production Plan, verify produced quantities on Process Orders, and close them upon completion.
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager and Operations Manager to ensure effective production execution.
- Collaborate with technical staff to discuss and implement quality control procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Extensive experience in chemical production and/or manufacturing processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
- Strong proficiency in SAP system and computer skills.
- Great attention to detail.
