Role:
- As a Production Planner you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient planning and scheduling of our manufacturing operations to meet customer demand and maximize productivity. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop production schedules, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of our water trucks to our valued customers.
Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Supervising the production planning process
- Procurement of necessary parts
- Assessing production lead times
- Ensuring punctual deliveries from suppliers
- Collaborating with the production team on vehicle manufacturing
- Demonstrating exceptional organizational skills
Ideal candidates must have:
- Analyse data to plan production schedules effectively
- Keep schedules organized and tasks prioritized
- Communicate well with teams, suppliers, and others involved
- Pay close attention to details for accurate planning and execution
- Solve problems as they arise during production
- Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Excel spreadsheet
- Use software and tools to streamline planning processes
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage inventory
- Adapt to changes in production needs
- Lead and motivate team members
- Ensure workplace safety for all employees
- Focus on meeting customer needs and delivering quality products
Qualification:
- An engineering degree or equivalent practical experience
