Primo Foods has as an opportunity for a Production Planner to join the team, based at our Wacol facility. The Planner develops the plan across operational activity for production in the short, medium term and understanding production constraints in order to ensure efficiency, supply levels and minimize stock holding risk.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Produce a daily plan to achieve the MPS numbers and support the business SL through maintaining stock policy, controlling SLOB cost, and balanced operational costs and yield.
- Meat and dry goods availability analyses constraints for daily plan
- Production plan x actual previous day raw and pack, understand deviations and action with operations team.
- Daily RMR, meat ordering for next days
- Review daily FG stock projection, to escalate for supply planner issues.
- Following changeovers, ABC prioritization, stock on hold procedures, chiller stocks, std agenda and machinery breakdowns procedures
- Collaborate with production supervisors, managers and supply planners.
- Identify potential short-term risks with a focus on process improvement and risk mitigation.
About you:
- Experience in delivering high quality customer service, providing customers with options and solutions.
- Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Experience in the production process, capacity planning, and scheduling techniques including master production schedules.
- Knowledge of Integrated Business Planning and Integrated Tactical Planning, and Demand Management
- Exceptional Distribution Requirements Planning abilities.
- Capability to articulate key metrics and root causes of performance to stakeholders.
- Knowledge and understanding of supply chain planning.
- Excellent analytical ability with skills that enable coordination of data, including MS-Office (primarily Excel)
