The Opportunity
Reporting to the Production Manager Nutritionals, this role is responsible for the daily operation of the Nutritional Plant which includes Lactoferrin, Membrane, Spray Drying and associated processing equipment.
The role is part of an overall autonomous team where each team member is accountable for the outcome of the Nutritional division. The role contributes to continuous improvement and maintains quality standards in line with our GMP & HACCP requirements.
You will be responsible for:
- Identifying trends, investigating and ensuring corrective actions are in place and monitored to ensure product integrity.
- Ensuring preventative maintenance requirements are completed.
- Developing, implementing and improving operating procedures.
About you
- Manufacturing experience in Dairy and/or Food and Beverage environment, or other relevant manufacturing processes.
- A mechanical/electrical trade that wants to work within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to learn and develop skills quickly.
- An inquisitive mind that wants to continue learning from the process and technical experts involved within the business.
- Passionate about your work, always looking to work smarter, ensure you get the job done and have a team first approach.
- Desire to be part of an autonomous manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 production environment working up to and including 12hr shifts.
