Children’s Education and Care Assurance (CECA) is currently undertaking recruitment for a Professional Officer to work with the Audit and Risk and Quality Assurance teams to commence immediately. This is a permanent position.
To support compliance and promote quality under the Education and Care Services National Law (ACT) Act 2011 and the Children and Young People Act 2008, successful applicants will work in partnership with education and care providers.
CECA is a team within the Education and Care Regulation and Support (ECRS) branch of the ACT Education Directorate. The Audit and Risk and Quality Assurance teams sit within CECA and are staffed by qualified early childhood professionals with experience across Government and non-Government education and care services.
Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in early childhood education and care are required. Related qualifications may be considered.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Authorised Officer Training program delivered by ACECQA.
Note: A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
