About the Role
The Business Analyst provides expert advice and analysis utilising a range of sources across TAFE SA systems and contribute to continuous improvement processes. The role maintains and administers systems and databases, collate data and generate reports and use these reports to conduct insightful analysis and recommendations.
The Business Analyst also provides project management knowledge and discipline to support a range of Educational Operations division and business unit initiatives, and independently prioritise numerous activities to meet deadlines.
Key Outcomes of the Role
- Develop project plans for complex activities involving a broad range of stakeholders.
- Prepare and contribute to timely and well-researched briefings, reports and notes on sensitive and complex issues.
- Liaise and negotiate with internal Business Unit staff, other internal teams such as Finance, Marketing, Student Experience and Quality, Teaching and Learning, other agency staff and external stakeholders on a range of issues including briefings, ministerial, student complaints and refund activity.
- Identify, establish and maintain effective working relationships and a network of strategic alliances with stakeholders across TAFE SA, government and key stakeholders.
- Maintain a confidential working environment in relation to sensitive and at times, complex matters.
- Actively contribute to a positive and high performing team culture and oversee projects which support strategic aims.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
Out of hours work will be required.
