Hays Assessment & Development works with an extensive portfolio of Public and Private sector clients to design and deliver streamlined recruitment and selection services to support ongoing or project-based recruitment requirements. We are seeking Professional Scribes interested in providing recruitment support on a casual assignment located in Osborne Park. There may also be the opportunity to work for the Hays Assessment & Development Team as we facilitate a wide variety of projects on an ongoing basis.
Your new role
You will be assisting government panel members and assessors in recruitment selection processes by attending and scribing at panel interviews and preparing selection documentation in line with Government merit principles and standards. You will be required to provide your expertise in accurately recording the conversations during interviews and post-interview debriefs to develop succinct summaries of proceedings and panel assessment. You may be required to assist in shortlisting, scheduling interviews and completing reference checks on behalf of our clients. The assignments are casual short term, with each assignment length dependent on the number of interviews and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting shortlisting of candidates based on specific criteria
- Scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates and interviewers
- Preparing detailed selection reports summarising candidate's qualifications and interview performance and reference summary
- Scribing during interviews, accurately capturing candidate responses
- Collecting and verifying candidate references
What you'll need to succeed
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively and in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Prior experience in Federal/ Government recruitment is essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written communication and editing skills
