About these positions

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Workers and Program Assistants to become part of our Youth and Families team.
Some of the key responsibilities
Youth Worker:
- Works individually or as part of a team assisting Senior Youth Workers in the development and implementation of a range of programs, activities and services for young people.
- Participates with and supervises young people in positive passive and active youth activities.
Families Program Assistant:
- Assists with the planning and running of programs and events for young families.
- Assists with the monitoring and evaluation of programs and events.
- Works independently with limited supervision within a community setting.
Essential requirements
- Completion of or progression towards certificate IV in Youth Work/Community Services and/or equivalent relevant experience
- Working with Children Check
- Current class C driver's licence
- Current First Aid qualification
- Current National Police clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
