Join us as we plan how to make the best use of the State’s natural and built assets for the sustainable and responsible development of Western Australia.As the Program Director you will be a thought leader on project management advising and directing the delivery of significant strategic projects across the Department.The Program Director provides strategic policy advice, research, analysis, ministerial advice and across-organisation advice to the Office of the Director General on matters relating to projects in the Department. This includes policy, legislation, strategy development, issue management and across government coordination of matters pertinent to the Department at State and Commonwealth levels.This is a permanent, full-time position. - Extensive demonstrated experience in the leadership and management of strategic programs, projects and initiatives in line with legislation, including contract management and financial risk management.
- Relevant degree, extensive experience with contemporary project management methodologies and demonstrated capability to direct large scale projects.
- In-depth knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the application of Government procurement standards and practices.
